![]() One of the reasons I paid more for the DP Chip was their warranty. ![]() Last week, I read on PP that there is now a fix for the flat spot so I rang Toyota. They claimed they knew nothing but when I offered to give them the reference number for the update, they suddenly knew all about it. I have been complaining for 12 months and Toyota have consistently denied there is a problem. Both issues are well documented on Pradopoint. Prado 150s suffer from a vibration at 1500 rpm and an intermittent flat spot. I have found their warranty service to be exceptionally poor. It's not DP Chip I don't trust, it's Toyota. They told me that their chips are programmed for each specific model and that critical temps etc will stay within safe limits even on the highest setting. When I bought the chip, the dealer told me to call DP Chip for advice on settings. I certainly am cautious about it and probably won't leave it on the highest setting.
